Fuel Surcharge

Air Ground Xpress (AGX) bases our Fuel Surcharge on the AAA daily fuel gauge report average for the Pittsburgh, PA metro area.

In the event the FSC is not updated on this page, please contact AGX or utilize the index provided to calculate the current week’s FSC.  AGX will utilize the actual FSC for the week in calculating the cost of fuel at time of invoice. 

AGX will carry the previous week’s FSC % if applicable due to holidays and AAA website outages.

The daily fuel gauge report can be found on the AAA website.

The AGX fuel report will be updated on Monday evenings. The weekly fuel surcharge runs from Tuesday morning through Monday evenings.

In the event Monday is a federal holiday, fuel will be updated Tuesday and will apply to shipments from Wednesday morning through Monday evening.

The AAA fuel gauge for the Pittsburgh region is $4.012 on 01/13/2025.  Therefore, the fuel surcharge for the week of 01/14/2025 through 01/20/2025 will be 35.5%.
